ICM is about relationships. We connect with students and their families, as well as helping students make connections with other students and with volunteers and members of our supporting churches. We celebrate holidays like Halloween, and Thanksgiving together. We have Christmas and Easter parties where we explain the religious and cultural aspects of the holidays. We play games, watch movies, go on hikes, go to the beach, and travel to Chicago, Detroit, and other major US cities. We also play a lot of soccer (what the rest of the world calls football). All of these activities help us build a rich and exciting feeling of community and family.
