ABOUT US
Over 50 Years of Food and Friendship
In the mid 1970s, a visiting professor invited a handful of international students to share a simple meal. Today, a community of 100-150 students from all over the globe gathers each week to connect over a meal prepared and served by local congregations.

International Campus Ministry exists to build relationships of welcome and witness to Jesus Christ to the hundreds of students that God has brought to Western Michigan University. ICM is an independent non-profit organization supported by individuals and local congregations in West Michigan

Rev. Dr. Laura Osborne

Laura is a WMU alum who has served with ICM since 2016. She has a husband and three daughters, as well as animals of all sorts that live at the Osborne Event Center (as do students, on occasion). Laura loves students, traveling to new placers, coffee, and Jesus, not necessarily in that order. In addition to her work with ICM, she also serves on staff with the Reformed Church in America.

Rev. Dr. Kevin Edlefson

Kevin has been with ICM since 2021. He has a wife and three adult children. Kevin enjoys long hikes with the dogs, kayaking, playing guitar, and reading the Bible with students. He's a passionate Packers fan and also enjoys what the rest of the world calls football (soccer), where he has recently become a lifelong Wolfsburg fan. Someday, he'll finish his novel.
